Southern Serenade – Artisan Design Team Blog Hop

My chosen set for this month’s hop was the beautiful Southern Serenade Stamp Set.  It was a joy to play around with and I felt completely at home with it. I always enjoy a stamp set that has a good mix of background/texture/detail stamps, greetings and a focal point or two, and this one ticks ALL the boxes!

Southern Serenade Gorgeousness

The set looks like this:

It coordinates so well with our vintage-y feeling products like Linen Thread, Lace Trim, Pearl Embellishments, Crumb Cake Card Stock and our Window Box Framelit dies, so guess what I used..? 🙂

Southern Serenade Cards

Here are the cards I made using the above products with the Leaf Punch and some vellum added to the first card…

And Shimmery White Card and some Crumb Cake ribbon added to the second one…

I also wanted to make a little gift box so that this could be sent as a token of appreciation for someone I love.  I decided to use the Window Box Framelit dies as I think the beautiful patterned panels and top match the gorgeous detail of the stamp set…

For the little flower embellishments, I stamped them in Crumb Cake ink on Shimmery White card and then coloured the centre of the flower with the Rich Razzleberry Watercolour Pencil and the leaf with the Old Olive pencil.  That and the ribbons are the small pop of colour on the top.

Here are the three together…

Giveaway

As always, I do a giveaway of a product from last month’s comments and my Artisan makes from last month to a customer.

The winner of the Watercolour Pencils for leaving a comment and subscribing was… Andrea Gilbertson

The winner of my projects for ordering last month, was… Carina Nilsson

This month’s winner will get a pack of Watercolour Pencils too (as I had two!) Just follow me on FB, Instagram, YouTube and Pinterest and comment below with your favourite products for vintage-y feel projects…

I can’t wait to see what the other Artisans have made with their Southern Serenade/Waterfront Stamp Sets… You can go to the lovely Sarah’s here or through the link below and see the rest of the list underneath.

If you’d like to order this beautiful set I’ve popped the products I used underneath and don’t forget the Host Code for that extra special thank you gift from me!

Happy Stampin’,
