Currently you’re visiting Rhoda MacPherson from Shetland, UK. Hello there! You can continue hopping my using the previous and next buttons at the end of this post. Now, let’s scroll down to see what I’ve been making.
The first bundle I had a play around with was the Foxy Friends stamps and punch, which was a little bit of a surprise to me because I love the Floral Boutique and the Pop of Pink, but I had an idea in my head and just went with it. For today’s blog home I wanted to go very clean and simple and dive in to the new dies.
I used the Petal Burst embossing folder (love it!) and the Flourish Thinlits dies. I stole a greeting from the Bloom and Wishes set but I could easily have used the Flourishing Phrases that matches the beautiful thinlits.
Here’s the card:
I wanted to make something for my next class attendees using the same bundles so I added the Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper and wrapped up some Orkney Fudge (for anyone who was on the incentive trip, these were supposed to go with my card swaps but they were wayyyy too heavy to take in my case – so sorry!). I cut the paper at 10cm and then scored at 1.5cm, 2.5cm, 1.5cm. 2.5cm and cut off after 1.5cm. I just wrapped them around and sealed with Fast Fuse (Tear and Tape would work too).
Then I copied the style by Washi taping the flourish to the front, adding a greeting (I used the Floral Phrases set this time as the ‘thanks’ was a perfect size) then added the little hand tied bow as before.
Here they are:
I just added a white bow for the navy papers and a navy bow for the white papers.
