‘Moving House’ Stamp Set Perfection

Have you even been hunting for a good ‘moving house’ card, or visited friends and couldn’t find the perfect card to say ‘thanks for having us’? Maybe you were looking for a ‘new baby’ card but they were all a bit ‘twee’? Wouldn’t it be great to have a stamp set that combines all of those, as well as being ideal for children and adults?

Stampin’ Up!’s new host set ‘In the City’, is the perfect stamp set for all those occasions. It covers birthday, baby, moving house, visiting, welcome and is also great for children. As one of my customers had recently asked for some ‘moving house’ inspiration, I jumped at the chance to ink this stamp set up.

Moving House Ingredients:

I used Smoky Slate card stock and then stamped the house, cars and bird background with matching ink.  This amazing stamp set has sixty different stamps, including an ice cream cart, sky scrapper and stork carrying a bundle. It also has seven greetings and interchangeable words for US/UK English.

For the focal point, I layered our new Fresh Fig and Powder Pink ribbons. I added the new Pretty Label punch on top. Then I used our Old Olive and Early Espresso Stampin’ Write markers to ink up the trees. Then I used a few Dimensionals to raise them up a bit and ‘voila’!

The ‘In The City’ stamp set is a host item.  That means you can either choose it for free with an order over £150, or join my host code club and get it as your free gift for ordering online. Hooray!

I’ll tag the current items used below, but come back June 1st to order (it’s not long now!)  If you’d like a catalogue, just send me a message with your address and I’ll get one in the post to you.

I love that Stampin’ Up! gives you the options to create the cards and designs YOU want, with the most amazing sets to do it with.  This stamp set is a keeper!

Happy stampin’

Rhoda xx

Thanks so much Yvonne. I really do love making things for others, I’m sure you feel the same with your knitting? Maybe you could try stamping some tags to add to your knits on your etsy shop? It would be fun to combine the two. 🙂 xx
