Before Christmas, Stampin’ Up! gave customers and Demonstrators the chance to pre-order Stampin’ Up’s new Stamparatus tool. This is an amazing new stamp placement tool that we can use for quick stamping, batch stamping and two-step stamping. Sounds good doesn’t it? Well guess what? I found another use for the clear plate!
I’ve always loved messing around with watercolouring and using the lids of my ink pads and sometimes a plastic lunch box to get inky in. And then I used the Stamparatus tool and realised I could use the big acrylic plate too!
How-To Stamparatus Video
I made a quick video to show you how… You can watch it here…
The End Result
I used the Brusho powders, our Stampin’ Blends and either water or rubbing alcohol to make some interesting backgrounds. Heres the finished result…
To make the Brusho background, just add water to the plate but for the Blends background you need to ink first and try and blend the colours on the plate, then spritz lots with rubbing alcohol and press the paper into it. Then lift the paper and spritz more to make the colour run a bit. The Blends background definitely takes a bit of practise but love both the effects. All the materials are linked below and I’ll love for you to tag me if you have a go at this too.
Don’t forget to use my Host Code when you order for an extra free gift that will be shipped next month, and while I’m Artisan, every order will be entered into a monthly draw to win my makes 🙂
