I’m delighted to be hopping with the inspirational stampstories ladies today with the beautiful ‘Wedding’ theme. You’ve probably joined me from the wonderful Barbara Meyer, who I’ve never hopped with before! If you’re not sure who I am, I’m a mum of four boys and live on an island in the middle of the North Sea in Scotland. Welcome!
So back to weddings.. at some point through the year a friend or relative will probably be getting married, so I thought it was a great chance to crack out the stamps and make a batch of sweet and simple cards to have ready for the big day.
I made a simple wedding card that can be batch-made very easily. I used the Stitched All Around Stamp Set and coordinating framelits, and paired it up with my favourite Whisper White and Basic Grey.
I used the perfectly sized stamp that fits that space so well, and then stamped some Fresh Fig behind using the foliage stamp. I then layered over the ribbons and sequin trim using tear and tape and Glue Dots.
Then I just popped the greeting up with Dimensionals, added a Sparkle Glimmer heart and there you have a quick and easy card with a little bit of shine for a special day.
Thanks for joining in with our hop, now hop along to the lovely Linda Van Wely and see what’s she’s made for us…
