The Stitched All Around bundle is an absolute beauty, and I’m excited that the Artisan Design Team are showcasing this gorgeous bundle.
I love all our stitched dies because they add detail and depth without any fuss, so now we have even more to add that extra wow to your projects. Here are the stamp set and dies…
Stitched All Around Project 1
I especially love the detailed frame and the background die and the tape dies are absolutely gorgeous. For my first card I cut a Basic Grey frame and stamped the floral image from Botanical Bliss in Sahara Sand and then coloured the image using out Watercolour Pencils and blended it with the Aqua Painter, which just gives it a softer more watery look than the blender pen.
Here’s the Botanical Bliss stamp set…
If you stamp on Shimmery White card stock, the water doesn’t pill the card and the Sahara Sand stays put a little better.
I then added a greeting in Lemon Lime Twist and Rich Razzleberry, with matching Ruffled Ribbon and a sliver of the Petal Promenade DSP. The background is a piece of the grey concrete effect DSP for some texture and depth, on a Shimmery White Card blank.
Stitched All Around Project 2
The second card uses some of the other Petal Promenade DSP with a Vellum Card overlay to soften the marble look. I used some of the other frame list as background pieces with the DSP featuring again, as well as a floral cut out from the Botanical Bliss Suite. I think these two suites are made for each other!
To finish my second card, I added a Basic grey card strip, some Ruffled ribbon and a few pearls to add some sparkle.
