I went sweet and simple for my Beautiful Promenade showcase but I love that it is a bundle that lends itself to both a layered style and also a clean, simple style.
The Beautiful Promenade Stamp Set is full of thoughtful greetings and some beautiful floral images. In fact, the whole suite has some beautiful touches, from Rose Metallic Thread and Gemstones, to floral stamps and papers. Have a look…
The Beautiful Promenade Grey Card
To make my cards, I chose the soft neutrals from the papers and used the Grey Granite paper for the background. I paired it with the Petal Pink card and Ink pad. I wanted to create a simple sentiment on a wreath-style centrepiece, so used the Stitched Shape Framelit dies for the Oval in the middle. The flowers and leaves were just stamped and hand/die cut in Tranquil Tide and Petal Pink (I didn’t have Mossy Meadow to hand which is the colour of the green in the coordinating cardstock pack.) I love how the background paper looks like concrete.
The Beautiful Promenade Petal Pink Card
To make the Petal Pink card, I cut the beautiful geometric background with the dies from Vellum Card Stock and layered that over some Versa Mark stamping to add a little more dimension. I added a touch of grey with the die cut shape and some flowers and a greeting to anchor it. I laid the large leaf over the top, rather than behind to pull the two together and add to the focal point. It is much larger than the flowers but I was happy with that. 🙂
