Merry Christmas to All – Artisan Design Team Blog Hop

Today we get to share not one but two gorgeous bundles with you! The Making Christmas Bright and Merry Christmas to All stamp sets and their coordinating punch and framelits.

We also had all the lovely accessories and papers to showcase and I was so glad we did! The All is Bright DSP is a mixture of traditional and neutral colours and the photographic papers are just amazing.  I chose a shiny bauble page for the background of my first card and the bokeh effect papers for the background of the second.

Merry Christmas Card

The Merry Christmas Thinlits dies are nice and big, perfect for that standout greeting.  As the greeting is big I like to let it sit front and centre and be the star.  I paired it up with the matching stamped greeting from the Merry Christmas to All set and used the framelit to cut it out.  I mimicked the bauble shape with my circle background and used the matching papers as a base so that the colour coordinated and wasn’t too solid.  The foil is the Champagne colour and looks so much more beautiful in real life.

Friends Card

The greeting on the second card is from the Making Christmas Bright set.  I used Tranquil Tide alongside the beautiful golds and metallics on the DSP and then punched out Champagne Foil and Tranquil Tide Glimmer lightbulbs with the Christmas Bulb Builder Punch.  I stamped the curly bulb background in Crumb Cake on Crumb Cake card stock and then mimicked it with some bakers twine and the punched shapes.

The paper beautifully adds a little bit of depth and the soft bokeh light makes it a grown up and neutral card to send at Christmas.
