Frosted Floral for Spring and Summer

The end of 2018 and the end of my Artisan Design Team year is upon us! It has been such a joy to be part of this wonderful team. Behind the scenes, the girls have been encouraging, supportive and caring. We have cheered each other on and cried with each other and I’m so glad that I got to know these amazing women. It has also been a joy to push myself as an Artisan, to work with the amazing team at Stampin’ Up! and to try things outside my comfort zone. I also wanted to thank each of you for hopping, reading and commenting. It really does make such a difference when you know people are reading and enjoying your work.

Frosted Floral Bouquet Card

For my last share, I have my favourite Frosted Floral Suite. It really is such a beauty and I wanted to tempt you one last time (if this has bypassed you somehow and you still don’t have it!) with some Spring and Summer cards to show you how versatile it is.

For my first card, I wanted to create a bouquet with all the stamps and die elements.  I love grey so in a homage to my go to colour, I’ve used it on my very last Artisan projects.  This little card is a matted piece of Basic Grey on a Basic Grey card base.  Then I just cut three Smoky Slate branches with the Frosted Bouquet dies and placed them at the back.  Some Merry Merlot and Powder Pink roses filled the bouquet and the leaves were Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive.  I used the matching sentiments to add the congratulations banner and cut the ends into a point.

Frosted Floral Oval Card

For the second card, I used a Smoky Slate card base and cut a piece of the Frosted Floral Specialty DSP slightly smaller to leave a border all the way around.  Then I layered over some Vellum Card Stock, the same size as the card base to cover the whole card front.  Then I cut some Basic Grey and Glimmer Paper branches and some more Merry Merlot and Powder Pink flowers.  I added another of the First Frost greetings to the centre of a Whisper White Stitched Shape die cut and added the flowers around.

I hope you like these two little projects using our amazing Frosted Floral Suite.  Our wonderful Artisans have a beautiful and totally inspiring hop for you to enjoy so click the pink button below to join in.

As with every Artisan Hop I’m finishing off with a competition! To win one of the new So Hoppy Together Sale a Bration Stamp Sets, just leave a comment on my blog and get an extra entry for following me on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Pinterest.

One of my customers from the month of December will win both of these cards so if you live in the UK, Austria, France, Germany or the Netherlands, I’d love to be your demonstrator and be posting these to you along with your special thank you gift (in your calligraphed envelope!)

November’s Projects will be sent to one of my customers from last month, and the winner is… Shirley Turner! Congratulations Shirley!

My blog comment/follower winner from last month was… Crystal! Congratulations! Please email me with your address to receive your prize.
