I’m sharing a lovely card idea for mums today! If your children are anything like mine, you will have regular birthday parties to attend, presents to buy and cards to write. We seem to have a wave of parties and then it quietens down for a while, followed by another wave.
My answer is to batch make a tonne of fairly neutral cards to have ready for the next wave! The Lift Me Up stamp set and dies has been the answer to this term’s celebrations and they are fun for all ages (so not too babyish for the big ones!)
I designed this card at our last team training through a creative challenge. I printed some card sketches off Pinterest (of course!) and put out stamps, dies, paper and ink and asked the girls to design and make a card there and then based on the sketch. It pushed most of us outside of our comfort zone to create something off the bat, but we got stuck in and loved it so much we want to do it this month too.
Not only did we have fun, I also got to use this bundle for the first time. The patterned paper coordinates perfectly and is one of our FREE Sale a Bration items you can choose when you spend £45!

I went with colours I could use for any birthday but you could change these for colours you know the recipient loves. A very simple design but so much fun to make and a special one to give. Why not get the children involved a make a batch together? You can see the whole suite here or click the links on the recipe below. Here is the beautiful big balloon shown with some sparkly clouds and water colouring:
Love it! I’ll be back soon with some of our amazing new kits…
Until then Happy Stampin’
