Today I get to share something so delicate and unusual with you and I’m totally in love with it! My project today is a card made using the Stampin’ Up! Big Shot die cutting machine and some amazing new dies. The machine can cut over 50 different materials (including felt and fabric!) depending on which dies you use. Today I’ve cut some Very Vanilla card using our So Detailed die, laid it over Vellum which is then laid over our Designer Series Paper. It’s a few simple layers but just add depth and a subtle undertone.
The little greeting is from the Falling For You stamp set and is so perfect. I just added a few leaves from our amazing FREE Avant Garden stamp set and some embellishments to lift it off the card. During Sale a Bration every time you spend £45 you can choose an item for free! There are so many amazing stamp sets to choose from as well as a beautiful tin to store your cards in (or use as you like), patterned papers and ribbons. You can see the whole brochure of our free items here.
The card would be perfect for Valentines, birthdays, sympathy, wedding, just because… To make the words pop I stamped them in Versamark ink (a clear slightly sticky ink), then sprinkled embossing powder on them and heated it with the Heat Tool. The words become metallic and raised like hot foil lettering! So much fun to do and a little addictive to watch!
There are so many different ways to use the dies and I’m sure you’ll find even more. My recipe of all the products used is at the bottom and you can use the January code for one more day to get your extra gifts from me next month. Just click Shop above and add the code in the box at the checkout.
I hope you’re loving your new Spring Summer catalogue? If you haven’t got one yet please just send me an email to email@example.com and I’ll pop a complimentary one in the post for you.
