Colour Me Happy is the perfect name for this project kit! Along with our amazing Stampin’ Blends, Stampin’ Up! have released a project kit to show off how wonderful these pens really are. If you haven’t seen my tips and tricks video, you can see it here. If you have, you’ll already know what these pens can do. Why is the kit perfectly named? Well, I had to confess on my last post to not loving colouring in as a child, and now I’ve realised that colouring does make me happy! 🙂
Colour Me Happy Project Kit
The Kit itself is a good all-rounder. There are male-appropriate cards and the greetings are fairly neutral so they will fit lots of different occasions. The colours are a mix and go beautifully with the pens they recommend. Here’s a list of the extras you’ll need (you can find clickable links at the bottom of this post too…)
- Memento Black ink pad (water based so perfect for alcohol based markers).
- A snail adhesive.
- A wet glue (I use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen).
- Dark and Light Stampin’ Blends in Pink Pirouette, Pumpkin Pie, Night of Navy and Pool Party. (You may want the Colour Lifter and Ivory pens too.)
- The coordinating stamp set below…
Colour Me Happy Video
The video below takes you through putting your beautiful kit together but doesn’t give you the heads up about the pens and what they can do, you really do need the other video for that one.
It’s one of my longer videos, but I hope it’s helpful for how I put the pieces together (there’s an especially helpful bit on getting the foil tape straight on the angled Rich Razzleberry card).
If you have any questions about using your blends please do get in touch, I’d love to help you enjoy colouring as much as I am.
