I have the great privilege of going on this year’s Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip to Thailand and although I’ll have lots to share when I return, I wanted to share my Incentive Trip swap with you all.
Demonstrators who earn the trip have the chance to take part in the swap; they can choose a 3D swap, a card swap or both. Last year I did both, but as this time of year is particularly busy for us I opted for the card swap.
I made 26 of these:
I use the Whole Lot of Lovely patterned papers, aren’t they beautiful? The papers showcase our beautiful In Colours really well. I used the Lovely Words dies to do the ‘lovely’ and the Eclectic Layers dies for the leaves and flower. The square background is Tranquil Tide colour (it’s definitely grown on me), cut with the Stitched Shapes framelit dies and embossed with the Textured Leaves embossing folder.
To colour the word, leaves and centre of the flowers, I used the Aqua Painter and the Stampin’ Pads. You can see the technique here.
The design uses lots of Big Shot dies but I wanted to do something detailed and special for my fellow demos. The finishing touch is some black sequin trim.
I hope you like it and look out for a blog post early next week with lots of photos of everything I got up to on the Incentive Trip and the swaps I got back in return.
In the meantime, don’t forget about our amazing voucher offer and joining special on this month, you can see this post here for more details.
